WHY I BUILT THIS
A note from the person who built it.
A while back I found myself stuck. My son was going through something difficult, and every word I said seemed to land wrong. Not because I didn't care, but because talking directly about something that already caused him pain just made it heavier.
I started wondering if a story might do what a conversation couldn't. Something with just enough distance to make the hard feeling safe to look at, but close enough that he still saw himself in it.
What surprised me most when we started using Big Feels together wasn't just that it worked. It was what it did to bedtime. Stories stopped being fairytales. They became the place where we talked about what was actually on his mind.
My grandmother used to tell stories that landed a moral in a way that never felt like a lesson. It felt like something you'd want to live by. That's what I've been trying to build.
